My son loves the taste of Phenergan. It is sickly sweet like Pamol.

I don't like what it does to him though. The last time he had it (at about 1 year old) he was quite dopey for a week. Luckily we only use it for infrequent reactions to food.

I understand that different kids have different reactions though.

Ashlyn will not take anything & if we force her she will make herself sick

Anastasia will take anything once (she likes pamol & phenagen) thinks it all tastes good, only once or twice she has said she doesn't want that one again.  When I'm giving her phenagen I usually put it in her cup of milk bout an hour before bed without a problem

My children show prefer to phenergan, must be taste nice but it make them very sleepy, so we only use them at evening/night's attacks and now using loradpead for daytime's attacks but they all look at me, "yuk!" or youngest (12months old) would have cough fit for a mins like "this is yukky mummy!"

I really struggled to get Xanda to take Phenergan he kept saying it was yucky. I even tried mixing it with Ribena, even then he said the juice was yuck.
