Hello ladies just wondering if I can join? Wee Gabz turned one last Sunday!! An amazing year and it went so unbelievably fast... so proud of my lil girl and all she has learnt so far.

Hi and thanks for the welcome! Well thought it might be fun to play a wee game since eventually all these bubs will be 1 and walking and into mischief!
You know you have a toddler when....... You turn your back for 1 minute and all of the tissues in the box have been pulled out and are all over the room ;-) You see lil one walking down the hallway with a toy and comes back empty handed... It had been put in the loo!! Oh and you find your cellphone in the rubbish bin

Welcome! I think a lot of us are still in denial and hanging in the baby section for as long as we can, but we will be heading over this way soon.
I don't know if it counts, but since Blair turned one - or more accurately since we had his party over the weekend, he seems to be playing/investigating(?) his boy bits just a tad more - and when you aske him what he's doing just looks at you with an innocent - I'm doing nothing look. Here's a summary of us October Mums and our bubs, I've taken out the ones that we haven't heard from in ages September: 27th Sunnyhoney's Joy October: 2nd Eden 3rd NikkiB's Rex 4th babyg's Carys 12th Alyxw's Gabz 15th MonicaMouse's Blair 16th Salifer's Ella 17th SimSam's Oliver 18th Kabe's Eva 19th Monster's Talamahina 20th Newmummy's Kaelen 21st Peachy's Lauren 24th Neeks' Keziah 26th Manz's Mikayla November: 5th DH's Anyssa 9th Bel's Luke There's also another mum - 'george' I think, but I will have to wade back thru posts to get details. We're normally a pretty chatty bunch, we've racked up 400+ pages in the baby thread. Looking foward to hearing all about your adventures with your wee one. -------------

Luke will stand on his own for short amounts of time now, usually getting down on his knees cos he wants to get somewhere. He also now walks when you hold his hands - which he didn't do last week... ------------- Mum to two beautiful kids

NOOOOOOO he's my BABY not toddler.
Well he doesn't just walk now, he RUNS. He just loves to find things he shouldn't have & run away when i go to take it off him. Little monkey, so cute though. He also loves to climb everything. I can't believe what a little monkey that boy is. He just gets into everything. Very tiring for mummy. -------------
