so why does he insist on stealing food from the fridge and sneaking into his room and eating it under his bed?
i'm at my wits end...tonight he finished off the strawberries, last night he gouged out hunks of the cheesecake i had in there... hes taken yoghurt under there and bunches of grapes...among other things...
it is driving me nuts!!!!!

is it an attention thing, maybe? if you ask him, what does he say?
Jake is a fridge stealer as well, now he can reach the door handle, and worst is he takes Cahrlotte in there and gives her stuff too, it really cheeses me off. Although with him, I think its just cos he can, and he dosen't hide it.

its gabriel fats... i wouldnt blame toby he hardly eats anything...and in fact if he doesnt eat all his lunch and leaves it till later, chances are that gabriel will steal that too!
when they were little and first started opening the fridge i used to tape it shut but i havent had to do that for ages and i guess i could do it again but i doubt it would stop him for long...

Lol, my little brother used to do exactly that too!
Mum was forever finding manky old bits of things under his bed.
Benjy is more blatant, he comes and shows me the things he's pinched
I did have a lock on the fridge for a while, which worked a treat for keeping Benjy from raiding in there. Unfortunately it worked a treat for hubby too, and he broke it

Maya was licking spilt cream off the bench today And if I had a dollar for every time I'd heard "I'm huuuuungry" I'd be a millionaire.

I know someone who used to padlock their fridge closed to stop the kids from getting into it..not sure if you want to take course of action though....Lycan helps himself too, but he usually ask and i say he can get it...it's usually cheese, yogurt or fruit that he wants

McKayla is of the age that she can open the fridge and help herself too stuff. Just make sure all the bad stuff is high up in a cupboard they cant get. Put fruit out on tables for them to help themselves too and if need be make a dish for each child with their treats and sarmies for the day so when they are hungry they can go and help themselves. Stop the secret eating that way and they feel more in control of when they eat what ect.
Some days she eats loads and other days she doesnt. Big thing is we dont really have sweets as such in the house and if we do we put it in a cupboard high up and she knows it is a treat for now and then. Fruit however she can help herself too any time.
