we gave E tomato for the first time two days ago... later that day he came out in a big rash after his bath and eventually it went away(mostly on his back) now over the last few days he has got a rash again on his back(first time slightly raised now not at all) and a few spots on his legs and arms and a localised bunch on one leg by nappy.. he is totally happy and fine..only other thing we have done differently is not have him in any clothes for like 3 days..so could it just be the carpet? or heat rash?

jus tgo tout of bath and it's got stronger..and in more places then goes away but stays in the orginal places..

Have you got a photo???

it could be a heat rash (I have heard it is quite hot your way), or could be something to do with tomatoes.

Wait for the rash to go then try it again. Really, it could be either (or something else ). I still get heat rash as an adult.

Has he been outside? Sometimes Harry gets little rashes like that, just from the grass and stuff.

Could be the carpet, Spencer has spots on his knees and tops of his feet from the carpet and pretty much never wearing trousers or socks.
Could also be heat rash brought out by the bath, Spencer's ezcema always looks a lot worse when he's just been in the bath.

If he doesn't seem upset and doesn't have a temp then I would wait and see if it goes and if not take him to the doc on Monday. If it was from the tomatoes and you don't give him them for a few days then it should just go and then you can test again by giving them again in a couple of weeks.

it had mostly gone away then he had food with tomatoes in it today..not deliberately just one of his jar foods that he hasnt had often and he came out in the rash again...by both sides of nappy and a bit on front and back..is it worth going to docs or waiting till rodney on 13th?
