I'll definitely bring something to eat for the kids, probably snack stuff like Jatz Crackers etc... and of course drink.

Actually I posted to say... sorry we won't be making it this time. We've had a run of challenging nights, and although last night wasn't too bad, I'm feeling exhausted and like hibernating for the day is probably the best idea.  Next time though!! Hope you guys have fun - make sure you take your cameras and post some pics!

Kristy, would probably be good for you to come :) We had an offer to go to tuakau on the jet ski with my bro & bro in law but DH said it was important i come today so we will be there. Just me & David though as it's Vincent's sleep time & would be easier for him to stay with DH & have a sleep. Weather looking good here in Papakura but i guess that doesn't mean to much for you guys in town. Anyways, back to my gardening & will see you all in an hour or so. May be late as will need to clean up from gardening first. -------------

was nice to see everyone there. i have to admit we were rather anti-social and didn't mingle as we should have.....I was a little worried Natalie would go bananas like she has done in the past, but she was great! So next time, I'll be putting some faces to names

Was nice meeting some of you, was also meaning to do the rounds but thought since I have two bubs people can come & visit us... he he...a bit cheeky I know. Was the nicest thing before we left (single bub mums probably don't understand this) but both boys fell asleep on us while chatting to some mums. At home I can't just hold one while he goes to sleep because I have another one to deal with and we have such a routine of them happily sleeping in their cots that I never want to break that so that was just so nice for us to experience. Reminds me of the days in NICU when I could have one on my chest asleep for hours on end. edited to make more sense. ------------- 3yr old gorgeous ID twin boys. |

Kind of wish we'd got there a little earlier - brilliant to see a great turnout but a little overwhelming. ;) Still, nice to get some fresh air. :D Twinboys... had to say - your bubbas are such gorgeous, well behaved little things. Not that I suddenly want to run out and have twins, but they were just so cute and you guys seemed so comfortable dealing with them! -------------

Thanks for the nice afternoon in the sunshine everyone. We had a ball and it certainly knackered my little boot scooter out LOL her onesies bum is covered in grass stains now Those'll be fun to try and move.
Lucretia isn't quite old enough to babysit yet, but in 2 more years she'll be 14 and she'll be available at $25 per hour

We had a lovely time too. Dh was pleased to finally put some faces to the people I talk about from OB! We were the ones constantly running after our girl . Unfortunately we didn't get much of an opportunity to mingle with many people. Good turnout from the Oct 07 mums .

You have to have 100 posts to get access to the gallery - then it will come up on the main forums page, right at the bottom. Feel free to come to the July thread and do random posts to get to 100! Your boys are so cute!

It was sooooo good to put faces to names (much easier to put names to kids gorgeous faces and figure out who they belonged to lol). I had fun!! Didn't even feel too weird being one of the few childless ones

So the next one is at Cheltenham ? In devonport? good my friend is getting married there the week after, so it will be handy, can see the venue before the wedding . C would have loved it, all those babies to play with /cuddle . -------------

I just wanted to thank all the babies and littlies for putting on such a good show for my DH. You were all so cute and on your best behaviour, I think he's anxiety levels of screaming ratbags has dropped down several notches now We had a really lovely time and I'm looking forward to the next one (and the future ones when Sprocket becomes "a real boy"). ------------- TTC #2 |
