Hi there
I'm about 7 weeks pregnant with my second child. I had my first by C/s just over ten years ago.

I've been bothered by a heavy feeling in the pelvis area for about two weeks. Everyone says its normal.

But now I am acutely aware of my scar. It feels burny and uncomfortable inside. My whole lower abdo area is quite tender. I feel similar to the way I did when my c/s was healing last time. That I have no stomach muscles and I have to hold my stomach to cough etc.

I have my first midwife appointment on Thursday so will definitely be bringing this up with her. But I'm really not enjoying this at all...

My cs scar was sore to begin with so I started to rub biooil on it very early, felt much better and seemed to stop any itching and pain as it stretched.

Sounds normal.
The heavy feeling would be your uterus growing/stretching with Bubs and the tnderness would be from your scar stretching. Definitely talk to your midwife though as she will reassure you of he same things

I took the day off work today because I got next to no sleep last night. Went to the drs. Turns out I have a UTI. She also sent me for an emergency scan as she was concerned with the amount of pain I was in. Everything was in the right place and baby's heartbeat was visable.

Thats good news that baby's heartbeat was visable, hopefully now that you know its an UTI you can get that sorted and the pain will settle down. Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy
