So since i got preggie i seam to have lost contact with a few of my mates ( the ones that dont bubbas) anyway so i need to get out there and meet some new people with kids.
Is there anyone in Palmy out there that whats to do a weekly coffee group?? Coz i would be keen to. Maybe make a list one whose interested, People Interested & area Sarah & Leah (Roslyn area -------------

Sory and just to let you that it doesnt have to be for just people with babies.
I know it sucks big time, but i think its time to make some new ones coz we are all doing different things in life and want different things (there stil my mates from high school) -------------

I think mornings are easiest cause bubbas (especially the little ones) haven't had a chance to get cranky and tired by then lol...
I'm generally free morning or afternoon (not lunch) every day except friday afternoons (Daniel has swimming lessons) |

How about meeting at someones house one morning or something.. cheaper that way if this is going to be regular and doesn't matter it some of you guys youngins get tired and cranky or my toddler throws a mother tantrum lol.
I don't mind using my house, the lounge is usually covered in toys but I have a portacot too if a bubba needs a rest |

...are refluxy babies welcome at the theatre?!? Ha ha... ah, maybe I won't inflict that on everyone! I haven't ever done the mums & bubs session - does it work? How noisy do the babies get compared to the film? 'Cause that movie looks fab - but I think rather than attempting it with a toddler and wide-awake baby, I need a chick's night out for it instead (and that would get me out of the evening feeding chaos for a night too... sweeeeet). Dammit, I didn't check into OhBaby since posting here last, so I missed your post Stacey - otherwise I'd have come along. I will have to try to keep more of an eye out for the next get-together. Been pretty snowed under here in the last week though - one night we all got a grand total of 2 hours sleep, 4 hours screaming, then 2 hours sleep before getting up and starting the day over again. So last week I was a no-hoper for getting anywhere anyway. ------------- Andie |

hey, nothing about meeting cause i work school hours, but thought others might like to know - Juniors in downtown have a GREAT special. they bought some jackets to sell last season - down filled - $125 each. anyway they didn't sell well - they have a light blue emblem on them that apparently some people didn't like. So now, they are selling for $20!!!! I got two for my boys - I got a size 5 and 7 which are/were the biggest. they are fabulous, warm and i have no idea what the problem with the emblem was cause I think it's fine.
so, if you need a good kids jacket at a great price - check them out - assuming they haven't all sold out by now. |

The wellington orchestra I think it is are doing a big show specially for kids at the Regent but they sold our tickets and now they're sold out Oh well Jakes too young to know but I'm disappointed it was gonna be our first outing of this kind. Next time I'll find the damn C/C!!!! -------------

Hey ladies. Me and the boys are coming down on the 10th of June and will be around on the 11th. I have to get to boys to the eye specialist at some stage (I really should ring them to confirm the appointment) on the 11th (I think the appointment is at 11 or 1). But tomorrow night I can confirm a time and maybe met up??? ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

Down next Wed afternoon, in Palmy pretty much all day Thursday. The boys have the eye appoinments starting at 11am. We could do something around that.
