Hi working parents out there

It's not easy for me to join any coffee group since I'm working full time. I do want to have friendship for my baby and myself though.

If you are ok with meeting up during weekends for children playing and chatting, please join me.

I so wish I could find other working moms living on the North Shore - I started a thread once but got no replies.

Hope you find people!

Hi

My baby is 15 months old now. Hope we can build a group.

AzzaNZ I know what you said. It is not easy as working parents seem too busy to join forums or thinking of joining any group. I believe we have to make time for it for our kids.

No I have not exactly.

I have come to the Auckland Mum meeting last Saturday at Ellerslie Lollipop. However had not really time talking to other parents for I was busy running after my baby. I suppose that a few meetings will make everyone more used to each other. Still feel that parents sharing something like working or location may become later on more supportive like sharing ideas of childcare, going to same swimming session for the kids, how to balance life and work etc...

Also like frequent weekend meet up to build bonds, and if so don't want to pay $8 per week all the time .

I like that playcentre anyway, though quite tired afterwards. It has a lot of things for a toddler, unlike the playcentre in Cavendish drive in Manukau.

I work too, only part time but it feels like fulltime lol. We are always busy in the afternoons visiting family or trying to put some order into the house! It is a real bummer though missing out on all the groups etc that usually meet in the mornings. We would be keen for a once a month weekend meetup? Every weekend is too much as we are always quite busy and visit the grandparents etc etc....

Unfortunately we didn't make it to the lollipops meet up but maybe next time :)

Hi,
I am on maternity leave and live in the east south area of auckland. I would be keen to join a coffee group, if you are still meeting up. Especially now that its starting to warm up and we are getting out and about more. Be really nice for me and my girl to meet other bubs and toddlers too. And hey, its great to meet other mums and let the littlies socialise.

I will be returning to work monday to wednesday eventually part time.

i think its a great idea.
I am working now - only 35 hours a week but still keeps me pretty occupied for most of the week.

I know I would love the extra support / company when this one comes along :)
