O.K. so I know a few of you are up the duff so the prospect of a wine or 10 probably doesn't appeal but just curious how many would be keen to catch up for a few drinks in town on evening. We did one at the Dux quite a while ago and it was fun despite only half of us actually turning up lol. So I thought I'd just put it out there and see if anyones keen. If enough people are keen for a girls night to escape the kids for a couple of hours then we'll organize something. It's also a fun way for new Mums to come along and meet the group.

Any takers?

Haha. Yeah sometimes its just nice to get out and away from the kids. I've noticed most of my girl friends are overseas at the mo so I've been missing my once a fortnight girls night out

That's cool, DH doesn't work weekends but he is on call every 3rd week so would be better if it isn't then (although I have gone out before and we just cross fingers he doesn't get called in)

Haha I forgot about this lol both dates work for me. Was thinking maybe somewhere central to meet like Sol Square. Fat Eddies is always good with lots of big comfy couches to lounge around in. After a few wines your tempted not to get out though

I guess the best way to do it is put your name down next to the date that works best for you and which ever date gets the most people wins. For those that don't know what Sol square is check it out here - http://www.sol.net.nz/ - Sol Square It's right across from the bus exchange in town for those that bus.

Not sure on the 31st - I should be able to, but it is my baby shower. Anytime is OK - perhaps 6 ish? Lisa, have you got your mobile working yet? Cos if you do I could just text when I am free and meet you wherever you all are.

O.K. so how about Sat 31/10 7pm @ Fat Eddies in Sol Square. I figure 7pm gives people more time to feed and bath kids before heading out.

Does anyone care that the 31st is Halloween? It doesn't matter to me but I only just worked that one out so I wasn't sure if anyone else had clicked lol.
