A couple of us have decided its time to get rid of our Mummy tummies and get fitter so we can run around after our toddlers without turning bright red
We are going to meet to go walking on a Tuesday and Thursday afternoon at 3pm (Tuesdays leaving from Henderson and Thursdays leaving from Massey).
The plan is to either meet at a park, go for a walk and end at the park so the kids can have a run around, or ensure the route has a park near the end of the loop so the kids can also burn off some steam.
Hopefully with a "group" it will be easier for some of us to get up and get outside!
Feel free to join us .. we would love to see you, just pm me for more details.
First walk starts this week (tomorrow). PM me if you want more details, its a great way to meet more Mums in your area!

Oh and in regard to the Summerland walk, they have closed off the track near the railway, so you can no longer do a loop.

I'm still hoping we'll make it, but miss monkey fell asleep in the car this morning when we were out and about, and is now refusing to go down for her usual lunchtime sleep so if she does indeed eventually go to sleep, and subsequently wakes up in time, we'll be there! I'll text LF if we can't make it.

hey, I would love to join you guys on a tuesday afternoon, my day off! Will follow the posts to see whats happening! The summerland walk is lovely, even if you just do a loop around the houses and back again. My little one loves feeding the ducks.
Back's been playing up too, so won't be able to keep a great pace going either, but need to get out there and tone up before beach weather hits!

Tomorrow's walk is leaving the bottom carpark of Waitakere Stadium at 3pm - so far we have myself and Blondy - Alex you in?
trackdownshaz .. we shall be the ones with prams (the carpark is usually pretty empty at that time, so we could be the ONLY ones there) lol

Hey,
my names Lauren and I have a 21 month old boy called Jaxon. I love walking (as I have a dog), and would be really interested in connecting with some other mums. I live in Te Atatu South. It gets a bit boring walking by myself sometimes!!
Would love to meet up when you next do your walk...my email is lauren@thewrightzone.com (or wright-zone@hotmail.com if that one doesn't work)
