Has anyone heard anything more about the plans by Auckland Kindy Assoc to get rid of the half day sessions? I missed the segment on Breakfast the other week and I can't find much on it. Will it affect all kindys? Jack is on the waiting list for a private kindy that is local and I know that he won't cope with full day sessions, at least to begin with ------------- Lindsey

As far as I know it's just the public kindys that come under the AKA that are doing it. They're moving to 6 hour sessions, but I think some will still offer either a morning or afternoon session for kids who don't want to attend the whole day. Some kindys have already started offering the 6 hour days, but not all of them. Ours isn't doing it anytime in the near future, but they said that they will have to do it at some stage ------------- http://lilypie.com">  http://lilypie.com">
