Hi ladies Are there any Nelson mums or mums to be out there? Im moving back up to Nelson next week and was wanting to meet up with other people who are having/had kids :) -------------

Hi ya  Me and my 11 month old daughter live here in nelson. I found doing the antinatal classes up at the hospital good for finding a group of mums that were due the same time as me. We now have coffee every now and then which is great. Also plunket in town have a coffee/play group every monday which is free. Whereabouts are you in nelson? there's lots of other groups etc.

im having an OMG moment! (im not blonde)  lol yah i finally got a reply! Im living out in wakefield with my DF, and have finished work till bubs arrives (as we moved). Its so hard to get into antenatal classes up here! Only one of my friends has a kid (2 years) and im the first in my family, so its rather daunting! Is the plunket group at the plunket centre in Nelson? I will have to investigate. ellabellame- Yes PM when your next up- I would be more than happy to meet up -------------

| yeh, the plunket group is in nelson, but there might be one run by the richmond plunket? you'll have to ring them :) your midwife should be able to get you into anti-natal classes up at the hospital, otherwise there are the parent center ones which are quite expensive. When you ring plunket, ask them to send you a list of all the playgroups etc, that might help :) |

Thanks for the info, ill give plunket a ring and see what info i can get from them. Ive managed to get into an antenatal class through the annesbrook church (im not a church person) lol so it should be interesting! -------------
