Has anyone else had this problem?

Lucy is toilet trained and does wees on the toilet, but when it comes to poos she waits till she is wearing her pull ups and does it in there. After a bath. We are getting tired of asking her to try and do poos in the toilet and telling her that she is a big girl but all this is not working. She has told us that she is "scared".

Any suggestions please?!

Because she is not trained at night time. Only naps that fit her.

Will she do poos while sitting on the toilet, IF she's wearing the pullups? I read somewhere that's one way to start them off with it. Apparently quite common. So maybe start getting her trying to do poos on the toilet with the pullups on and go from there.

Also, does she watch you poo? I know it sounds gross, but it may help?

ah! gabriel used to do the same... always in his nappy after bath and story.

what we did was delay his bedtime and the putting on of the nappy and got him to sit on the toilet before bed for a min or two. at first nothing happened and he would still go in his nappy, hen one day he did it in the toilet and he never looked back!

diane levy encourages them to go in the right room first, then on and eventually in the toilet.

I am so hearing you! I think we've had maybe four number two's on the loo, the rest are always in his nappy at bedtime. After bath. Drives me insane!
