Hi,

A couple of us ladies from Jan 2010 forum were thinking it would be cool to organise a meet up group for new Chch mums.

Not wanting to step on any toes as I know there is already a chch meet up group.

Just a bit of support and company for us with wee new ones, having said that, anyone is welcome to reply.

I'd be more than happy to host coffee at my place for a first meet up.

Anyone keen, reply and let me know what days/times are good. I'm basically free most of the time atm.

Hi Fliss, I'm keen!

I prefer mornings around 10:30 - 11 and have a few classes coming up on Thursdays, any other days of the week are fine though.

Happy to fit in with what works for everyone else though :)

Oh yay, so glad I got a response!! lol. Mornings sound good Jane25, I'll put it out there and suggest either this Friday or next Tuesday at 10:30. We could do first meet up at my place then alternate people's places for whoever's keen. Let me know which of those times is best (or alternative time if not) and if we get that sorted I'll PM my address to whoever wants it.

That's a great idea, it would be fabulous to meet up with some other first time mums.

I'm definately keen as long as no one will mind a possible bit of screaming, the young lady seems to be doing a bit of that lately.

Next tuesday at 10.30 would work for me, thanks.

Wednesday should work for me, however do also have a plunket parenting education session at 12.30pm, but should be able to manage both if wednesday works best for most people, otherwise most other weekday mornings are fine by me.

Hope everyones had a great day.

Next Wed is good for me, I'm pretty sure I don't have anything on then (baby brain is not so good at remembering that kind of stuff!)
My wee man is a bit unsettled at the moment, we think he has reflux so I hope noone minds a grizzly bubba!!

sounds like wednesday it is! I'll pm you all my address and we shall say around 10:30/11ish, no need to be super punctual as we all know how hard that is now!! Hope I'm not too far away from anyone, but like I said, we can take turns at hosting if people are interested in carrying on. (feel like I have the easy job! will just need to try tidy up a bit!!!)

really looking fwd to meeting you all!

I would love to join in on the meet ups. I'm still preg (5 weeks to go) so not "officially" a mum yet, but close enough :D
I'm free pretty much all the time, but am reliant on busses.
