I had a small infection in my wound that was where my drainage tube was it was th size of a 5 cent piece on the outside but who knows how big it was underneath.....

Pre this pg I could feel a bit hardness below the skin.. figured it was scar tissue and have been massaging it when I remember.

Yesterday (5 weeks) I started to get mild stabbing pain in this area.. its quite localised and naturally I began to panic about ectopic but this morning have been thinking it could be the scar tissue....

Does that sound possible? It just seems a bit early but then I also *think* baby implanted that side so that might have something to do with it????

I had this. I ended up having a scan at 7 weeks because the doctor was worried about ectopic. I also thought baby implanted on that side. Turns out baby was at the back in the middle and the cause of the pain was put down to my scar tissue stretching.

Good luck.

Thanks guys, my GP said its most likely scar tissue and to keep up the massage to try and break down as much as possible before my uterus gets too big.

Im having a dating scan at 8 weeks but if it gets really bad to ring her and we will get an emergency scan done to be sure.

Thanks Nikki!

Yup I still get the odd weird pain round my scar, and when i was pregnant with Isabella, the first 8 weeks I had all sorts of twinges.
Its totally normal hun, but ask you MW if you are unsure or worried
