This coffee group is open to anyone anywhere in the Wellington region, that includes the hutt and kapiti as well if you don't mind travelling. It is open to mums to be, even dads to be, new mums and/or dads and mums and/or dads in general. It will be in people's homes and we will alternate whose home it is at. I thought it would be a good way to gain more friendships too. So if you are feeling a bit isolated and want to make some more friends who are pregnant, new mums and or/dads and mums and/or dads with children, feel free to come along. Post if you're interested. -------------

I'm keen and also willing to offer my house (so long as people aren't allergic to cats - we have 2!). We are in Papakowhai and have a decent sized lounge and dining room. I'm finishing work this week so will be free during the days from next week onwards -------------

I have a puppy (small dog) who is hypoallergenic, so even allergic people are not allergic to him (although he can be a little barky, but easy enough to lock him down stairs)  -------------

Weekdays are good I reckon, as I think my DP might be overwhelmed if I had one on the weekend here, with all the women. We could even have it twice a month(fortnightly). Yeah we have 2 cats as well.
So what time is good for most people? I find during school hours good for me. So we could have meet ups on the weekend at Denny's and Coffee Group during the week. -------------

Yep week days are good for me, turns out I finished work yesterday!! So we could even do one next week if we wanted? Since Amy and I will both be off work by then? I too like the lunch/morning tea idea thing. Although I think i will get over the baking pretty quick!!  -------------

Best route to go if coming from Johnsonville is at 2nd roundabout, turn left, you will see a church to your right, follow the road that way(that is bassett st), at Challenge turn left(that is Ohariu Rd), keep driving, road will become Cunliffe St up the hill, on your right will be Hollydale Grove and directly opposite on your left is Salem Court.
If coming from Tawa direction, go down Middleton Rd, turn right at Halswater Drive, turn left onto Abilene Cres, then turn left onto Cambrian St, then right onto Cunliffe St, Hollydale Grove will be on your left, Salem Court is directly opposite that on your right. You will need to park on road in Salem Court, as I have a shared driveway, so I can't have cars parked up my driveway. My house is pretty much straight ahead once you turn onto Salem Court and it is the first house you come to up the driveway. Thought I should give directions even though most people use maps, as a lot of people end up turning down Ironside Rd by mistake coming from Johnsonville and then get a little lost. -------------

Hey Renee, what's happening is not much LOL!
I got a bit disheartened that people kept declining the event requests or saying maybe and then everyone bailing out before I had the coffee group. Still happy to have one at my place or someone else's. Days that are good for me are, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, certain Thursday's and Friday and between school hours. -------------

Berg, this link should show you where the #54(Churton Park) busstop is closest to my place. This bus goes more often.
http://www.metlink.org.nz/stop/3240 - Bus stop And this link will show you where the #53 (Johnsonville West) bus stop is closet to my place. This bus only goes every hour. http://www.metlink.org.nz/stop/3074 - Bus stop #54 is closer to my place, but more of an uphill walk and #53 is more of a flat walk to my place. -------------
