What is the one (or more) dish that is inexpensive and easy(ish) and that when you cook it there are guaranteed to be no leftovers or complaints?? |

Bacon and egg pie- I use short pastry on the bottom, puff on the top -put in chopped bacon and mixed frozen veges, break 3 eggs onto it and use a knife to spread them a bit (none of us like big bits of yoke), then mix another 5(ish) eggs with a dash of milk, salt and pepper, pour this over the bacon/mixed vege, top with grated cheese then the pastry!
Spag Boll Roast chicken/ potatoes/carrots with brocolli and mixed frozen vege and packet gravy! We use chicken thigh/leg bone in pieces cos they are cheaper than a roast/cook quicker and evenly and are still yum! |

Schnitzel with mashed potatoes and veges.. the kids fight over who gets the biggest bit.

Lasagne
Spag bol Sausages, mashed potato and mixed vege is always a hit Theres also Spag and Meatballs and I use pork mince. They're always in high demand. ------------- Antony, gone but never forgotten 2-4-2010
