Has anyone done it?

I have a chair I want to cover and although I have some ideas I've not done it before so thought I'd see whether anyone has any tips or suggestions for places to go for help.

Yay - Babe, your link makes it look as easy as I was hoping it would be.  Now to locate a staple gun and some fabric.  The fabric has to wait until I have the budget for it but I'm wondering about trying to recreate a designer pattern I've seen in a shop down the road from work.  Definitely can't afford their fabric but I think I could do a pretty good job with some heavy duty calico and some fabric paint!  Fun to try anyway.
