In lots of sun, and don't listen to them when they say they have to be far apart, they need each other to produce cobs. I have mine about 15cms apart.

Also grow in pairs and once they get to about 30cms get rid of the smallest of of the 2.

Do you get rid of the smallest plant?

Best thing is to grow them in a block style garden, so that they can all fertilise one another. Plant two seeds together then take the smallest one out. Its easy to grow from seed, most of the stuff from the garden centres have two or three plants per punnet thingy and they hate their roots being moved, so if you do buy them as a plant try not to mess with their roots to much

Yep take the smallest plant of the 2 out and compost it. Well that is what I do with them.
