.....heritage beans.
We've just moved into a house with a fantastic garden but there are so many things I don't have the foggiest idea about - like purple beans. Now that I've picked a decent hand full of them, what do I do with them? Do I just cook 'em up as I would green beans? ------------- |

I would give it a go, try putting them in a steamer like you would for broad beans. -------------

As soon as your purple beans detect heat it will turn green btw. We cut them up and have it in salads (to keep purple color)
