so after playing nicely at the table and drawing together for half and hour (pretty good in our house) the girls were starting to get at each other a bit. Amy was annoying Sophie so I suggested she come and help me in the kitchen, I got a pretty dismissive reply, so I asked again, got grumbles and 'no'.
So I asked Sophie if she wanted to help 'yes Mummy' so we started to empty the dishwasher. At which point Amy has a massive melt down because she want to help too    Can't win *rolls eyes* small children are NOT rational beings  -------------
