until you see an effect from neocate?
It's going well in the sense that bub will drink it and he wasnt drinking his other formula much at all.
He's happily had it since yesterday afternoon.
But he's still spilling quite a lot which was one of the big concerns with him.
Is it too soon to tell? The spilling is much more watery

How'd it go at the paed? It took us a few days, there was definitely improvement by day 2, and so much better on day 3, ie the screaming 20 mins b4 naps was down to 5 mins of 'whining'. Night wakings were zero by day 3. He has been on neocate nearly 2.5 weeks now and has only woken up once or twice in the middle of the night, my fault entirely i put him to sleep too soon after last bottle.
I dont know if this'll b the same for you, but i found bubs was more 'satisfied' with a smaller volume of neocate than other formula, maybe decrease the volume your feeding him? Also i've been told neocate is much thinner than other formulas, that could be causing the spilling?
As an aside, my paed put my LO back on normal formula 2 days ago to see if neocate had made any diff, and yest he had a funny rash, still there today and he screamed the house down at lunchtime n refused to nap. So i guess neocate might b working for him. :/
