Hi ladies, I read that other people were "tight" after their C-section. I was just wondering if anyone can tell me if/when this might improve... for those that have had this. Anything I should know that may help (apart from lube)

Thanks! Hope it wasn't TMI!

Relaxing? I found I was more uncomfortable the more I was nervous/worried that it would hurt. Other than that lots of lube, foreplay and time.

Def lots of lube, time. *TMI warning* My biggest problem has been DH going too deep, you tend to forget that your uterus is still full of stitches as well. First couple of times post-c-sect we do DH on top, but I keep my hands & occasionally a knee (if that makes sense?) in the way to slow him down/ push him off, because it can be a breathless stub-your-toe kinda pain & the "ow" doesn't always make it out quick enough. But I only wait a week post c-sect which could be the prob. HTH.

Oh & it's (for me, everyone's different) typically back to ordinary no-pain bd around the 2 month mark.

I was the same as Tictac I had problems with DH going too deep as well. It took a while for that to go away. We just had to figure out different positions to fix the problem. And yes lube is your friend lol.

I will also say that lube is a must have. And I think starting out in a position where you control depth is a really good idea. Good luck

we waited 4 weeks post c-section and there was no *internal* pain if you get my drift, more just a bit of pressure from DF on the c-section area

Thanks ladies.. looks like it's just time (and lube!!). Hadn't really thought about it, in terms of stitches!

We had to wait 7 weeks post section as I bled a LOT. I had no problems with anything down below except for a few little twinges from the wound sight. Oh and I cried like a little girl because of stupid ass hormones so it didnt really happen anywaY :P Lube is your best friend. NOT the fancy ass ones tho, just the plain and boring one.
