Just wondering if anyone here get the unemployment benefit, just trying to sort out our finances, my paid parental leave finished next week, then i am going to officially resign from work,
Dh is a student and gets the maximum student allowence, and we get an accomodation suppliment, but even those barely cover our expenses,
can't get dpb as we are married,
so wondering how much you get per week on an unemployment benefit, I know its quite personal for people, so if you dont want to post publicly you could pm me, i just want to get a rough idea of what i could possible get, so i can sort out my life a little
thanks

Nope you don't qualify if your DH is studying. You will well he will, get an allowance for having a partner. Can't remember how much it is but it isn't very much! If you are with Winz then you won't get anything from Studylink and vice versa.

We are the same at the mo Thunderwolves, although I am still on unpaid leave. We get DP's allowance + a little p/t work he does, WFF tax credit and accom supplement. And I'm currently doing p/t teaching once a week, which still falls under the accom supp threshold. Tight but manageable.
