Just wondering for those that have been pregnant after a c-section how much scar pain did you have, what did it feel like and how were your uterine cramps?
I feel like my uterine cramps are maybe worse than last time and I have long periods of just a dull ache in my scar. Nothing sharp, or regular, and it's not all the time, but it is uncomfortable, so just wondering what others have had.
Also- is first trimester likely to be the worst bit or is it going to continue to be painful throughout or get worse at any point? Any remedies?

Hi Bky
I didnt get any c/s scar pain at all in my 3rd pregnancy (which was post 1 v/b & 1 c/s).
What I did notice is Period Like Cramps as the uterus grows over the pubic bone. (at about 9-11wks gestation)
This is normal as far as I know as few my friends have had the same and with my 2nd pregnancy (after the 1st was VB) I had the same feelings so its not related to scar just the uterus growing. But if you are worried phone your MW, If you dont have a MW yet go see your GP.

Hi Bky,
I'm 20w pregnant after a cx 13 months ago... I've mainly found my scar as got really itchy, what MW thinks I also have round ligament pain (and spd) which is causing me havoc. I'm not sure if this was made worse by my cx. I got that heavy feeling (before a period) around 10 (??) weeks, but it's gone now.
Hope your pain disappears!
