Is there anyone in the Te Atatu Peninsular or surrounding areas that would be keen on a mum and baby fitness class? Thursday mornings.

Hi! I think she was charging around $10/$12 per session. The trainer's details are: Fiona Modderman fionaonaboat@gmail.com or you can check her out on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/BumpBuggyCruisers
Fiona will only run with minimum numbers so there's nothing going on yet. Hopefully we can get a couple of people together so we can get out there! I bet dads would be more than welcome! I'm keen to start so if there's a couple more who want to sign up, that would be great.

Thank you Anna! Found your post!

The classes will be $10 for 1 hour of exercise. 45 mins of cardio and resistance training, finishing off with 15 mins of abs and stretching. Men more than welcome, but I'm not sure it would be hard enough for you? The abs at the end is to focus more on the core group that get really stretched and weakened due to childbirth, that ALL of us need to work on (including myself!) Having said that, the whole population should be doing it too, as it helps prevent backpain and increases core strength.

I studied Physical Education at Otago Uni and am now a mother of a 2 year old boy and 11 month old girl, so will of course have my own kids in tow and I trust that I know what I'm talking about in terms of fitness.

Please feel free to look at my facebook page or email me on fionaonaboat@gmail.com for more info. I have the minimum number now, so will be starting this coming Thursday (5th July) at 10am!
