Hi, Sorry I haven't been on here much. I had one in October but mine was to help suppress my anti-thyroid antibodies, not due to endo etc. I haven't got pregnant again since, but have had 3 times when I think it started but didn't stick, which is why I'm now on progesterone too. My naturopath (who specialises in infertility and miscarriage at Motherwell in Mt Eden and is very highly regarded), recommended it and said she has had many patients with unexplained infertility get pregnant a month or two after doing it. Neil Johnson is just lovely, and the treatment is uncomfortable but not very painful. Let me know if you have more questions - but PM me as I might not see it otherwise.

Yes a month later we had our little mr 2years and 4 months. We had been trying for 3 years. We have just been through 2 miscarriages and I came across your comment while looking up "poppy seed oil" and lipiodol. This is the lovely man who did the research and does the procedure. The funny thing is after finally finding him and getting an appointment(I thought the study was someone over seas, till I accidentally found a colleague of his that recommended him, funny how somethings just fall in place) a friend of a friend had just had a baby, heard hubby mention his name and said that she did it and a month later got pregnant. It does not work for everyone, but the basic stats are if you are unexplained infertile it increases your chances 2 fold and if you are infertile because of endometriosis it 5 times yours chances. :-) contact info for Dr. Neil Johnson http://www.healthpages.co.nz/medical-specialists/obstetrics-a-gynaecology-related/obstetrics-a-gynaecology/johnson-neil" rel="nofollow - http://www.healthpages.co.nz/medical-specialists/obstetrics-a-gynaecology-related/obstetrics-a-gynaecology/johnson-neil all the very best

Dec 2014 now and I am now 41 years had the treatment again and after a few false starts we are presently 12 weeks pregnant. This was after Dr Neil Johnson politely and gently told me there was stuff all chance as I had very little eggs left. Odds are in our favour more each week. If you read this please keep us in yourthoughts. But if nothing else I am greatful for our now 3yrs 5 month miracle boy who probably would not exist if it weren't for Dr Neil Johnson and lipiodol.
