Are there people who buy uncalibrated kitchen scales? I think that kitchen scales are such a thing that you need to buy only if you are sure of the accuracy of the product. When I ordered from here https://www.amazon.com/Vont-Beautiful-Measurement-Stainless-Batteries/dp/B08SW6F5SZ" rel="nofollow - https://www.amazon.com/Vont-Beautiful-Measurement-Stainless-Batteries/dp/B08SW6F5SZ my scales, I first checked them and made sure of their calibration. Then I checked their functionality, whether it matches the description and really this is what I need. After that, I tested them in practice and only when I was convinced that this was what I needed, I threw out the box and was happy with the new purchase. I always told people to check before they started actively using it. However, I think that a good manufacturer always makes sure that the product is configured and works correctly.
