I would just try to sand down the metal as much as possible to hide the irregularities. But that would thin the material even more, which means it would deform even more in service. Or I would replace this part and use it in other projects. But the previous commenter is definitely a fan of his craft. I learned more in a couple of minutes than I have in two years. I have only one excuse. For me, working with metal is just a hobby that I can only do on weekends. So my skill set grows slowly. I don't even know which sandblaster I should choose from the ones presented here https://www.kitmondo.com/cat/used-metalworking-machinery/" rel="nofollow - https://www.kitmondo.com/cat/used-metalworking-machinery/ . Two months in doubt.
