I've looked at them as well and am thinking of ordering one to see what they are like, even though I have a bit of a wait until I can try it out - but I'm quickly becoming a cloth addict hehehe

hehe stacey, you just wait til bubs is here...your addiction will escalate! (sp?)

i have a tweedle nappy for charli and it's good for nights. it's a sz sml but still abit big for her during the day but with heaps of stuffing for nights it's great. have you looked at joel-ezenaps.co.nz i'm loving these for charli at the mo check out my girl on the gallery page
$22 for a pocket nap (no insert)
also, peapod nappies are great too for $19.95 the insert is great as a booster but not so good by itself

lol I know it will escalate and I will be in trouble since we will have far less money than we do now!

I'm gonna get a joel-eze one too hehehe

I've got a couple of pea pods but after one wash (cos I know they are a bit like towels and don't absorb without being washed a few times) the fleece is already looking like it's been through the wash about 10 times + so I'm not all that impressed with them.

But this is coming from no actual use of them so far! hehe

Posted By: Bizzy
Date Posted: 14 March 2007 at 8:37pm
kebakat it is the inserts that need pre washing for absorbency - not the actual pocket. i havent tried tweedle yet either but want to - there were a few reviews on the nappy network and they were all good.

Yeah I know it's the inserts that actually need the washing but I wanted to wash the pocket as well to see how good the fleece actually was.

Oh bugger!! i wanted the butter!!! lol I asked her and she said that she is getting the butter in within the next 10 days and the other colours within the next 2 weeks but she hasnt been able to find PUL in the bright orange only the microfleece.

Emma do you find them to be really good nappies???
What is the best brand you use???

I haven't tried them yet - they were posted today so hopefully will arrive tomorrow.

I've said it many times but my absolute faves are the Ecobubs wool. I've got 2 candy stripe and 2 citrus stripe (which have the yummy orange fleece but I'm not sure if she's still doing this color) and ordered two more in blush but asked them to change the fleece and snaps color. Well they stuffed up and put the wrong fleece in them, so she offered to remake them and I said I'd take the right ones plus the ones they stuffed up - based on the premise that a baby can never have too many nappies of course! So now I have 8 of them

hehe I'm waiting for her yellow PUL to come in stock, DH wants me to get a hurricanes inspired nappy with yellow PUL and black microfleece lol

Haven't seen a retro wave Drybee, but Mumsandbubs do a retro print Happy Heiny?

Tried out the tweedles, didn't really get to give them a good test run as both bubs "christened" them before they were very wet, but I like the cut - they are quite narrow thru the crotch which is good for my chubby thighed gremlins.

Well I just got my tweedle the other day & I really like it. The fleece is so gorgeous & soft! Great fit & nice & trim & I like the fact that you can choose your own colour combinations. The wipes are fab for wiping mucky hands & faces too! Think tweedles could become a new addiction!!

My only bummer is that i really want an orange one and she has been unable to get a hold of any orange PUL Oh well still love them and am waiting for some more to arrive

I havent had a chance to try mine yet as I ordered a Medium before Caleb was born to try when he got a bit bigger, but have since ordered a small and cant wait for it to arrive so I can try it out on him. I am really impressed with how well made they are and how helpful Rachael is. Plus you can customise and have some really gorgeous coloured nappies.

I ordered the 'all you need' pack from tweedle - my first cloth nappies and I LOVE them. I can see how it quickly comes an addiction. I also got a Hurricanes and an All Black nappy - figured it could double as a NZ nappy ( didn't help the cricket team much LOL ). I love the way Rachael responds so fast to emails and is so helpful and friendly - great customer service and awesome product.

My tweedles arrived on Monday and they are FANTASTIC. They are a really well made nappy and the fleece is sooooo lovely and soft. Isn't it awesome that our Kiwi WAHMs do such a great quality job with their nappies so we get to buy top quality nappies for a really good price.

I am starting to believe I have a problem when it comes to tweedles. My latest order hasnt even arrived yet and I am already planning what to get next. I have to add gradually so DH doesnt go mental. Rachael is so lovely and helpful to deal with though, hardest part is deciding on the colours though.
