We took the terrortot and gigantababy here on the way back from picking Gran up from the airport on Sunday and it was GREAT. The butterfly room had both the baby and tot enthralled as butterflies flew around and landed on them. The farm part of the attraction was brilliant. The animals were tame, the terrortot got to pat a goat - and all looked very well looked after. The barn was full of bunnies and guinea pigs which the kiddies got to pet.
It was a little pricey (but not for Auckland standards) at $17 per adult. Kids under three are free (again, good for tots). There is a flash cafe that served very Auckland food at the Auckland expensive rate, however there is an area for picnics if you brought your own lunch.

Totally agree Emeldee! We went there a wee while ago and Ella still hasn't stopped talking about it!
I've promised her we can go again next month for her birthday and she is so excited!

If anyone has got the new Auckland Entertainment book, I just saw as I was flicking through that there is a discount voucher for a family pass (50% off).

I went there when still with Air Nz just before it opened and it was great even unfinished. I've heard it's even better now, I'm pretty keen to go back.

It's out by the airport. We'd been keen to go if you decide to go when you're up next.

And Paws, I'm all for planning a trip out there some time soon
