i didnt know wether to be angry at the kindy teachers or at gabriel...

i went to pick him up - was in the car for once cause toby was asleep in there after the groceries. I get there and watched him at mat time for a while then they said he could go...he announces as he walks towards me "done poos". oh great! the kindy teacher said oh he never told us. i thought oh well, he hardly ever tells me but it has been a while since he's done it in his undies and never at kindy. then another kindy lady is putting on his bag with him and as he walks away she notices his accident and said also she hadnt noticed it. I said never mind were only a min away in the car i'll fix it later. got in the car and it was all the way up his back...yuck!!!! so had obviously been like that for awhile. i thought surely hes been there 2 hours at least someone must have at least smelt it.? anyway i got him home and in the shower and as i'm rinsing out his pooey clothes and putting them in the machine i realise that i've flushed his undies down the toilet...

what a pooh-tastrophe of an afternoon.

I would lean towards the teacher is at fault there. They are meant to ask the children often if they need to go to the toilet. And the smell would be a give away that a child near me as had an accident and I would start asking the children.

ew I'd be a bit annoyed with the teachers, don't they spend any time with him? If it was that much they should have noticed.

Bummer about the knickers haha!!

Ewwwww! Poor Gabriel! Good to know I'm not the only mean one that throws him in the shower!

I'd be a bit cross at the kindy for not noticing, kids get this swaggering kind of walk when they've got loaded pants coz it's uncomfy for them so it's pretty obvious. But then when he had that accident at my place ages ago I didn't notice it till Maya pointed out there was a wet spot on the floor

Maya was gutted a couple of months ago when she fell asleep on the couch and accidentally pooed her undies and I threw them away. She hadn't had an accident like that in years and she was so upset, mostly coz it was her Snow White knickers.

That is awful! I would be sooo mad at the teachers, if I was you I would talk to the head teacher and tell her how disappointed you are with them, maybe that would make them pay more attention at least!
