Just borrowed my Mum's new one to try it out. It's one of these fancy $700 cyclonic bagless ones and OMG one vacumn of the house and the filth it collected filled a 2L container!! My vacumn cleaner must be doing a crap job!! I couldn't believe it and to think my child has to crawl around on that! Urrgh! Don't know whether I can justify spending $700 on a vacumn cleaner but I guess it's for the health of my family.

We have a Dyson with a turbo head.
I it!
We were fortunate enough to be given it as a wedding gift, but I highly recommend them.

We have a dog who sheds all year long and two cats - and now a crawler who likes to pick things out of the carpet and eat them.
I vacuum the living room every day, but if I leave it a few days the amount of crap it picks up is staggering!!

Perhaps ask Santa?

Or... just borrow your mums one every few weeks? (Yes I'm a cheapskate - we still have the same vacuum that DH shared with one of his mates in barracks and it's definitely not very effective but I can't justify $700 when we need food, heat etc!)

We had a Dyson and I was madly in love with it! The difference in the carpet was awesome compared to the cr@p job our old bag vacuum had been doing.
Sadly, it blew up BUT! we replaced it with a Hoover cyclonic bagless with a Hepa filter. About $200 on special from Godfreys. It is just as good! I am just as smitten with it as I was with the Dyson.

we've got a Dyson with a cyclonic head too - totally love it! It was alot to fork out (we waited for a Farmers sale), but before then we had 2-3 crapola cheap vacuums, and they all died within 1-2 years (and I felt like I had to vacuum the same spot 10 times to pick anything up with them! ).

It is very satisfying emptying all the cat hair etc out after each vacuum (but still slightly shocking just how much gets picked up each time )

Ok, so I'm tempted now... our vacuum cleaner is budget. I wish I knew someone with one I could try first, though - it's a lot of money to spend!

We have a budget vacuum which is now taped together after DH lost the plot and pulled the hose away lol.
We really need a new one but not sure where to even start!

My ex and I bought a Dyson - I miss it....

I have Mum's crapola one from about 10 years ago - still got plenty of suction but I don't think it does as good a job. Sometimes we borrow MIL's one - she has a Kirby (you know, those massively expensive cumbersome ones that cost about $3k) which is pretty good as well, but not as practical because it's sooooooo heavy!!! I wish I had kept the Dyson!!!

If you have a child, it is very important that you have a good air purifier. Don't you think so? I recently bought myself an air purifier https://myairpurifiersreviews.com I really like it because I feel like breathing much easier at home. My son has asthma and it is very important for him that there is always clean air in the house.
