Ok so I see the thread about what I can't eat and I can see the list of stuff of what I can't eat on cryingoverspiltmilk but what CAN I eat?

Like should I start on white rice and water and work up? How does it all work?

I'm completely new to this whole thing and the only inkling I have of where to start is that probably dairy comes into it since both DH and I have issues with cow's milk. However, because of this I eat very very little dairy anyway.

Any advice gratefully received. My brain is tired

Porridge, weetbix with water or rice milk. ricies, that sorta stuff. Don't over do the wheat jsut incase that isn't too good either.

lunch, normal sandwiches I guess. Mix it up so you aren't loading on one type of stuff.

Dinner either pasta or rice as a staple & then we usually have meatballs, stirfries with basic veges,chickpeas, homemade chicken nuggets. Do a fish thing stirred through rice?

We usually have meatball a few times a week cause I can't be arsed thinking. I should meal plan again & write it down for you guys so you get an idea of my strict diet & you can work more off of that?

Awesome thanks for that. I'd love to see your menu if it's not too much hassle.

I have Oat milk currently due to my milk issues - should I switch off that now or wait to see if things come right by switching out the other stuff?

What are the basic veges? Seems like all the ones we eat now are no-nos.

I read that I should avoid tomatoes. Is that a big culprit because most of our crock pot meals are tomato based so that would be a real pain.

Can you reduce the amount of tomato you use in there? Or is it packet?

Breakfast was homemade white bread with canola marg & marmite. (Usually off the menu because of presevatives & natural MSG & glutimates) Alia & Cooper had porridge.

Morning tea was dairy free chocolate muffins.

Didn't have lunch as we had a birthday party. Arvo tea was an apple.

Tonight's tea was good old meatballs & white rice, I had my seasoned with rock salt & a side of vodka & soda Meatballs were just that, meat only. Great finger food for Cooper as well & ate the lot by himself.

Dh hasn't been paid yet so scraping the bottom of the barrel for the next few days but amazing what you can do if you just have mince & baking ingredients.

Basic veges are swede, leeks, spring onions, carrots, celery, green beans, peas. We pad out our stir fries with kidney beans, chickpeas & lentils now instead of cabbage, broc or cauli.

ooh I can totally do those stirfries like that.

Usually the tomato is canned but I'm sure I could water it down and if that doesn't work I'm sure I can hunt out some crock pot meals without them.

Get the acid free tomatoes, that will help some what.

Tonight's tea, DFC (Daddy fried chicken) lettuce & oven fries. Will be interesting if the potato wakes him more tonight??
