My son is absolutely loving daycare but since he's been going he's been sick constantly which I know is pretty normal and unavoidable. But is this something that will be ongoing or will it settle down? How long does that usually take? I have gotten him onto some gummy vitamins, anything else I can do? I feel like he has been off sick more than he has been at daycare so far and he's been quite unwell this last round :(

Our DS was sick for around 6 months when he started daycare. It felt he was out of daycare more than he was in!

It does eventually settle as their immune systems get stronger. The vitamins may help!

Same here, my DS was sick most weeks when he began daycare.   Definately noticed an improvement as time went on.

There are some weleda products that we found made a difference. It was a lot better over Summer, and the second year at daycare he has barely been sick at all. So yeah, I guess mainly it's just a matter of time, and buying shares in kleenex!

My kids and I are all full time at kindy, and they were far worse on and off last year than they were this one. This year, we had three weeks straight off tummy bugs, flu and breathing issues, and it's all come right again. Aside from this wee burst, we've all been clear :)
