 Topic: My Baby Boy Has Arrived!!

Hello everyone i thought i would write and let you all know ive had my little baby boy,he was born last saturday night only after one hour of pushing he arrived with no pain relief.
I started having pains friday night from 1am sat morning,pains coming every 10mins-15mins so at 10am-11am midwife texted saying she would come see me,when she came i was 4cm dilated and waters were bulging,so she broke waters and she reckons i will have him within 2hours,2hours passed and i had no pains since midwife broke waters so she said come down to birth unit and see how things go.
That was at 3pm she put a drip in my arm thinking i was dehydrated then at 3.56pm koby mckenzie was born.Weighing 8lbs 5oz and i was proud i had no pain relief and to my surprise it was much easier pushing koby out then it was marshall
Im back at home now feeling tired and boy i forgot how sore my breasts get!!!!!!

big brothers are cute arent they.
Koby weighed exactly the same as my Harmony lol.I too had no pain relief with #2.
Hope to see some pics soon.

Yay congrats.
Paris gets upset when Ayja cries too, and cries when Ayja goes to bed.
It is so much easier pushing the second time around - maybe cos everything is stretched out. lol 
hope the tiredness and soreness dies down soon.

Hey thanks everybody,ill try and get pics on net as soon as possible.
Just been having probs with feeding,he latches on great but my nipples dnt like it much this time,one side started bleeding alittle bit,so now half an hour before feeding time i express 50mls each side into a bottle by hand,boy it strains my back but i dnt have 100+ for a breast pump i got a manual one but parts are missing and i find it quicker doing it by hand.
He takes just under 100mls too so i make just enough and then he sleeps for around 3hours better then every hour i spose.

hey jess, can you rent a pump? i know we saw a fe places in palmy that did it. contact your La Leche society, maybe they can help. The electric pumps are a DREAM~!!!!!
