Hi ladies,
I’m looking for participants for my research and wondering if you can help?
I am researching the experiences of larger women who are using, or have recently used, fertility and/or maternity services. This is because I am interested in the impacts (if any) of recent increased attention to women's weight in these services. My hope is that this research will help ensure that large women enjoy a high standard of fertility and maternity care.
You will need to be based in the Auckland region and be open to participating in an informal interview with me lasting between 1-2 hours approximately. You will recieve a $30 petrol voucher to thank you for your time.   A bit about me: I am a registered midwife, athough have spent the past few years working in the areas of women's health promotion and research. This research is for a Phd in Sociology at the University of Auckland. If you are interested in participating I would love to hear from you. Email: cpar214@aucklanduni.ac.nz or Text/Call: 021 2546026.

Public Funding for IVF demands that you and your partner are in the healthy weight range and are your correct BMI for your height and waist measurements etc this can be calculated online pays to be well organised well in advance to TTC esp if over 35 years of age. If you do need to take the long road with plenty of traffic jams to IVF you will need the patience of a saint of which I have not but I keep soldiering on as it's all you can do really. My husband and I am living proof that anyone can adopt a healthy lifestyle and make it work for them it can be achieved if you want a baby and public funding bad enough you will do it it might take you 2 years but you will achieve it you just need to be dedicated and be your own cheerleaders you need to be serous about this the only one who can get you to lose weight is YOU be honest with yourself be honest about what you are really eating how much you are eating how big your potion sizes are how many veges you are eating how much carbs ie potatoe... cutting back your carbs is first on the list you should only eat the size of your fist... bread is another one 2 slices max no more... and swap toast for cereal... sandwiches with crackers is rice cakes... eat avocardo put lemon juice in and on everything it helps you lose weight... also how are you are cooking are you frying when you could grill it and especially be honest about your snacking and junk food snacks in front of TV... not enough time to exercise I hear you say how much TV are you watching... you have my sky or TiVo reord it and get your butt out for that walk or run or go to the gym go for a swim get on your bike... you need to learn to balance your food input and energy output they need to be even if you love your food you will need to work out HARDER and I mean SWEAT pouring off you otherwise sorry but you don't deserve that chocolate... once you reach your goal weigth you can enjoy it more often just make sure you have worked for it no exercise no naughty snack simple.
