Topic: What do you do? Posted: 15 February 2012 at 8:32pm |
Just wondering what everyone else and their partners get up to on the evenings.
My hubby and I are struggling to find things to do in the evenings besides sit and watch tv. Any suggestions?
We have a DS 2 who is in bed at 7 so can't go out.
Thanks in advance

I go out and exercise one night.
Read books, play computer games, watch TV, crafty hobby, snore on couch. All highly exciting stuff lol
If it is still daylight we go into the garden, but are usually putting kids to bed, now that #1 is older.

Relax!!! Play a board game, watch TV, computer all the things that have been said above. You could buy some of those 'conversation starter' cards. Cook something yummy!!

Usually just tv for us, but for the 18 months of our marriage, we didn't own a tv, so we'd play cards together, play a board game, or read. TV is a convo killer. I'm glad we didn't have it when we first got married, but I really can't believe how we went without it! I think before we had kids, we had soo much time!!! Miss it actually. Now it's all about just getting to kids to sleep before 9pm with DLS!

Thanks for all the responses guys. We've made a new plan: dinner at the table. An hour no tv time (nt inclu dinner time) which could just be chatting, cleaning together, oour renovations or board games.
Heres hoping it sticks :D

I can't say for everyone, but my husband and I have one common hobby. This is gambling. We often play poker with the whole family when they visit us. But if we are just the two of us, then we go to the computer and start judi online. I spend about an hour a day on these games. Do you know why I chose this hobby? It just gives me regular extra money for my feminine stuff.
