what sort of pram do you have?

and what do you love/hate about it?

we've got a newish MB urban. only drawback is its size but I love that it's easy to push and maneouverable (sp???). It's pretty easy to fold up and has a good basket underneath for when I spend too much at the mall. Also will be a problem when #2 comes, but I'm planning that to be a good few years down the track!

I have pushed a friend's P&T with the extra seat on and found it heavy and harder to balance. I'll quote Emma since she's still internet less and can't speak for herself - she found the P&T great with the twins, but had their only been one, she would have probably gone with the MB.

(not that I'm biased toward the MB!)

I agree with Emma. The Phil and Teds is good for two but I much prefered my mountain buggy when I had only one. It pushes SO much easier and is much more sturdy.

We've got the P&T Dash and I'm happy with it. The brake is in the handle which is good.

I've got a Quinny Zapp- its not suitable from newborn but is a good alternative to a stroller.

Its light, folds down really small, looks good and is so easy to push.

Cons are the storage isn't very good and it doesn't recline. Those are fine for us as we bought an undercarriage basket thing for it and Kate has never slept in a pram anyway

I have a MB Urban Elite (which I'll be using very, very soon) in red

So far, with the trials runs I have been doing, it manouveres easily, is sturdy, I love the fact that the front wheel can be fixed or free.

I also brought it, as I am an exercise freak, and need something that can handle me going for daily jogs. But also for DH, as he will be the primary caregiver, and will be walking everywhere.

Rach179 - MB have released a new model called the Swift, which is replaced the Breeze model. However, with the Swift, the front wheel can be fixed or free (compared to a fixed front wheel with the Terrain and Breeze). It is designed mainly for use in urban areas (such as shopping malls and flat smooth terrain), so because of that, is a lot smaller than the Urban and Urban Elite.

DH and I are going to buy a Swift as well in a couple of months, when Lucian gets too heavy to have in a sling. Just for when we need to go to a shopping mall or if we travel. They do look really funky. And not badly priced as well.

The good thing with both the current MB Urban, Urban Elite, and Swift models, is that the seat lies completely flat for newborns.

I have a bugaboo frog, I love it, I love that ds can face me when he's tired and grumpy or face the world when he's happy. Its handy to fold down, you take the seat off then fold the frame which makes it light, it also comes with a bassinet. It is small enough for shopping & I have found myself not really using my umbrella stroller at all.

I also have a Maclaren Techno XT which I also love and have used since my son was a newborn.

I have had a mountain buggy & a phi & teds, I prefer the phil & teds just because it folds smaller & it isn't as wide as the mountain buggy.

Thanks for the tips "Lady Asset" ! Would the swift model be suitable for lots and lots of walking? I think I pretty much walked the wheels off my last pushchair!
