Topic: What was your implantation bleeding like? Posted: 31 July 2010 at 3:39pm |
Hi All
DH and I are not actually trying atm, but we had a bit of condom leakage (TMI) a couple of weeks ago and unless they're all in my head, i have a lot of pregnancy symptoms..! the main thing im not used to is this nausea!! I think I'm 12 or 13dpo, not sure when i ov'd though. Have had 3 BFNs- wed, fri, and 2day, it may be too early if i ov'd later than the typical CD14.
I'm still having light cramps that began about 10 days ago, and today I've got considerable discharge happening.. not like regular AF atm though, it's brown, no red there..
So finally to my question- what are your experiences with IB? what do you think of my situation?
thanx in advance for ur help! this would be my first pg so not really sure what my body's up to/what to look for!

RachFizz - I've been preggers 6 times - had IB only twice. First was the slightest bit of red in otherwise normal CM when I wiped only one time so would easily be missed (at approx 8 dpo) . Second was 2-3 days of light brown/pinkish discharge - similar to what I genrally get the day before AF - again at 8-10 dpo.
Don't know if you want to be pregnant or not but my guess is that if your discharge is "considerable" and there is "fresh blood" and you've had BFN's today I'd say you aren't. But only way to know for sure is to wait and see sorry!!

Yeah IB is usually on a very light bleed, and usually around 9DPO ish, and cos you have had BFN's today then Id say your not pregnant. I also get a lot of CM just before AF, and I feel really sick(a few times ive thought I was pregnant, but nope)
Like Travelbug said, its really just a wait and see thing

My IB was just one day of very light spotting which was a brownish colour - no fresh blood and it was at about the time I was expecting my period...perhaps it wasn't even IB as they normally say it should be about 10 DPO!
I'm going to hijack your thread a bit if you don't mind. I also had a question too about IB, you've sort of answered it TravelBug!
I was wondering if anyone who's had IB also got it for their next pregnancies??

Kyromaniac - FYI my history is MC's pregnancies 1 (8 weeks), 3 (9 weeks) and 5 (6 weeks) (none of those had implantation bleeds). IB with pregnancy 2 and 6 as described above.

I just found this... my AF is due today or tomorrow, and I have had what I thought was the start of it this afternoon, except it is just as described and it's stopped now.
TRYING to not get my hopes up! Will test on Sunday if nothing more.

oooo exciting Velvet!
Might be worth a mention that I had the same IB in both my pregnancies... I tested a couple of days after that last post

I will watch over the weekend to see if AF shows up, I thought that's what it was, then searched on here and found your post Kyromaniac.
