I need some wheat free reciepes please.   If anyone hasd any good ones or know's where I can get some please.

I got this fab allergy cooking books for children, brought on trade me, by kiwi mum (I am not sure if I am allow to mention her?). Only downside (IMHO) there is nuts in some of recipes, so I sub with something else like raisins if can do. It is full of wheat free, dairy free, egg free recipes my kids love her awesomes brownies!

I have tonnes of recipes!  I've been gluten free for a little over 4 years now and have lots of recipe books plus if you search wheat free in many recipe sites you'll be guided to lots of recipes.

What sort of things are you looking for?

You can still use you're normal cookbooks for many recipes, generally if something is just being thickened by flour just replace it with corn flour (check that it's wheat free corn flour though - edmonds corn flour is ok).  But for baked goods and breads you'll need to purchase special flours.  Heatheries bread mix and baking mix is a good start point or try bakels all purpose wheat and gluten free flour.

I still use the pikelet recipe from my edmonds cookbook but have just replaced the flour with healtheries baking mix.  It's yummy DH (who is not gluten free) loves my pikelets and pancakes.

I have a few cake recipes and a yummy cheese scone recipe at home, will post them tonight (actually might have posted them already will do a search).
