I had my last day of work for 2007 today I now have got 8 weeks to hang out with my beautiful girl before getting back into it - what a great feeling

Teaching Schools don't finish until next week but I only do part-time so that's why I've finished a week early

Lol Kels that's what i'm thinking.. the other night we were officially "closed to admissions" however, we can't really ever be closed.. if they come in to hosp in pre-term labour and are too far along to be shipped out we just have to deal with it.
We are tapering off though i suspect there will be another rush, last xmas was nightmarish. am glad i am on annual leave as of saturday until i go back on boxing day.

Janine, glad you have some time off over Xmas! I so feel for those poor families who have babies in NNU over Xmas. How stressful must that be

oh janine and kels i would LOVE your job!! but after 3 years of study im not too keen to do it all over again for a completely different proffession but man i wish i could!!
