I can't speak for everyone but I never thought you were saying that worry was exclusively for those that have had a miscarriage at all.
I guess we are all aware it happens, we have all seen it happen in the 'due in' threads and to our friends and family in real life and it affects us all in some way.
Like you said its great we have each other for support. Oh and to talk babies so we don't completly drive our men mad.

We have to get everything new - I gave everything away once Cam turned 5, didn't think I would need it anymore.
I do still have my bassinet which my brother has been using for my nephews and thats pretty much it - hoping they will have some stuff to share but looks like most will have to be brought... Oh damn,I hate shopping!!!

Grrr. I am so angry with my principal. Our staff meetings are on Tuesdays, but this week's was changed to wednesday when I have my scan. The meeting itself is about inclusiveness in PE for a boy in a wheelchair who is not and will never be in my class.
I went to the principal and said look, terribly sorry, obviously if I had known blah blah blah, specialist medical appointment (as school don't know yet) and he flat out said no. Got really aggro about it, said he didn't care and I had to cancel it. So I have, but thinking about it, I'm sure he's been a real d*ck.
I am really tempted to call in sick for the whole day, but can't really get on his bad side as I'm a still a beginning teacher and need his reference to get registered. The deputy principal has already signed off my papers, but the principal made her sit on them till at least term 3, so I kind of have my hands tied. I can just see him being really sucky and not giving me registration if I resign beforehand.
Sorry about the huge rant - I guess I'm just hormonal and it's kind of the latest in a string of stuff at school that just makes me feel really undervalued and taken advantage of. (If those things aren't mutually exclusive Any way, since I can't moan to anyone IRL I'm sorry it falls to you guys.

And now I've stopped being so self-centered, a huge welcome to all the new mums on our list, and hugs to those going through a stressful time. I haven't miscarried, and I know I am constantly on edge, so I can only imagine what it is like for those of you who have been through such heartbreak before. We are all here for you.

Yep Milly had the first test this morning and my midwife (aren't I organised ) will get results tomorrow then second test on wednesday! I know I'm abit jumpy but we had our 5th MC in March and the idea of losing another one is real gutting. I'm doing the whole mind over mater thing and being real positive but underneath theres just this sick feeling. It'll be ok if I can get to the end of this week. I feel like this really could be a sticky bub but I don't want to get my hopes up too high till after thursday!
We have pretty much everything we need which I thought sucked but then I realised I could get some really lovely maternity/BFing bras for me which I never had last time round so now I'm excited lol started looking around already!
Sass he sounds like a moron but hang in there! You'll be going on maternity leave before you know it

Hope that everyone is enjoying a relaxing evening especially those waiting for test results. Going to see my GP tomorrow so that should make it feel "official."
Just wanted to add myself to the all day nausea club no sickness yet just a constant nagging yukk feeling.

Sassy, I have alot of respect for you I honestly don't know how teachers do it I don't have anywhere near the amount of patience you need.
We've got to buy everything new because my ex has it all and won't even lend me anything . But oh well it means that I can go shopping so there is an upside to it. I deffinetly know what you mean about the "proper" family thing it will be nice for dh to have his own biological child
Good luck to everyone having scans or getting tests done

I hear ya - and look at Bex, 12 weeks already... Can't wait to get there.
Oh I have to share, I have found something that temporarily eases my evening sickness - healtheries green chai tea, it has ginger in it and while I was drinking it the nausea went away. And because green tea is good for you anyway its an added plus considering I'm off food at the moment.
Made the family Chilli con carne for tea and normally I love it, tonight I couldn't even taste to check the spice it was making my tummy churn. I had peanut butter sandwich for tea instead lol.

Thanks guys, I'm feeling much more positive about it this morning, mostly because I have decided to hand in my resignation week 4 next term. It suddenly feels more manageable, even if I have to work up to the holidays and then Yay! Babe, maternity leave here I come! Teehee about the patience Limo - I don't have enough for my job at the moment!

Hey I was reading about green tea and it said too much could cause neural defects. Don't know how much truth there is in that but thought I'd put it out there. I drink quite abit of white tea since I hate green lol I'm also gonna get some of those blackmore tablets! I've actually found that the more water I drink during the day the less nauseous I feel at night. I'm tryna get through 3 Pump bottles a day ATM and its working well. The day I didn't drink much I feel rotten!!!

I'm trying to drink more water too, aiming for three bottles a day so we'll see how it goes. Its a struggle in winter with it being so cold.
Sassy - sorry you're having issues at work but it sounds like you've getting it sorted. I fret on a daily basis about what's going to happen when I tell work - I can't see many "congratulations!" going on, more like freaking out as it will be such an inconvenience. It does worry me ....
Having my second set of bloods tomorrow morning, looking forward to that and getting the results - also naturally a wee bit nervous as well. Babe - let us know when you get your results!

So who's peeing more? I think my bladder had the day off yesterday but generally I'm getting up once during the night and then go anywhere between 8-12 times a day. Not that I'm counting ...

typed a whole reply and nothing:(
as i said why are they both at school in a month are they twins?
I get up once to pee or so but then I'm a bad sleeper when pregnant so randomly wake up and between that and Ethan waking sometimes it's tiring! though i did almost get a whole night sleep last night:)
