Also I can't decide if I'm hot or cold, last night I was shivering and freezing, but sitting in a hot bath. Perhaps I'm still in shock!

Can someone please add me to the list - I'd hate to muck it up....

EDD 18th April, #1, Karen (34), Pukekohe, definitely NOT finding out

This is our third pregancy, the first 2 ended in m/c so bear with me if I get a little neurotic especially around scan time   Early days yet so haven't been to doc or called midwife - in fact we haven't told anyone yet. Have done 2 HPT's and still can't believe it. Fingers crossed this one is sticky .....
4 x m/c - Sep 08, Mar 09, Oct 09 & Feb 10

Hey all, sorry been missing in action for a couple days - have started feeling very blah and soooo tired. My stomach is so huge as well, I can't figure out why I have gotten so big so quickly! Also I can't even get into my normal bras anymore I am in softcup bras because underwire just hurts too much.   Is it normal to get so huge at just six weeks, there are twins in my partners family so it has gotten me thinking!!!

I'll update the list now, sorry I haven't done it sooner

Congrats Bridget & Karen!!! It's awesome to see our list growing

FX for you Karen for a sticky bubs - this is an awesome supportive place to be, and you are so totally allowed to be neurotic, it comes with being a mum-to-be

Bridget (just so I can update the list) do you want to tell us your age, where you are from and if you are going to find out (you don't have to ) and if you have already and I have missed it I'm soooo sorry

Apart from sore boobs, my eczema has flared up quite badly and I seem to be burping a lot. No MS yet, but I'm waiting for it...

I feel so revolting today. My tummy is bloated/feeling big - my pants are getting tight so hope that settles down. I am hungry but not sure what for and feel sick after I eat. Am so very very tired and my body is aching. My boobs are sore and I think I may have to go shopping for new bras in the weekend. I was driving back from a work thing this afternoon, was only 1hr away from Hamilton. I had to stop twice as was so tired!  However, it is Thursday tomorrow so closer to the weekend! Treen I was burping lots in the last few weeks. Even before I knew I was UTD. Seems to have stopped in the last week.

eta My DH, after reading over my shoulder, has just reminded me how caring he has been while I am feeling so blah. He made me dinner (ham & cheese toasties as thats what I felt like) and gave me a shoulder rub. And took it pretty well when I blamed him for me feeling this way   lol.

Have doctor's appointment this afternoon. Still no morning sickness - fingers crossed I'll miss it altogether, mum said she did.

Feel a bit bloated during the day and hungry during the night, and have a sore throat/stuffy nose. Boobs ballooning by the day.

We've only told immediate family and a couple of close friends, but I'm dying to tell the world. How long did you wait with your first?

I am hopless we kept it to ourselves for maybe a week then told the immediate family. but everyone pretty much knew before i was 6 weeks. we were new to nz so didn't really have to worry about people guessing here.

we were just so excited we wanted everyone to know. mind you i had a friend who managed to keep to herself and dh till after 5 months cause she liked knowing something they didn't and it became a challenege to see how long they could keep it to themselves.

I told family and close friends on the very day DH and I found out ourselves. Hopefully it doesn't backfire on us.

Is anyone else finding their sleeping patterns are all messed up? I'm normally a great sleeper. I go to sleep within the first 20 mins of turning off the light and I don't normally wake till my alarm says I have to. But over the last 4 or 5 nights, I've been waking up continuously right throughout the night.

Oooh yes I'm with you on this one too Treen. Usually sleep very soundly, but lately been waking up at 3, 4, 5 and finding it hard to get back to sleep - then falling asleep on the couch at about 8pm.

Could just be the excitement, but the other night I lay in bed for hours in the middle of the night planning our kitchen rennovations.

maybe our bodies are preparing us for the sleep deprivation to come!

OK it's official. Went to my GP this afternoon. She wasn't going to test as I told her I'd done 2 HPTs, but I asked if I could. When I came back with my sample she said oooh it's very watery, probably won't get a result. Two minutes later two very dark pink lines! OK I'm excited now. Will find a MW tomorrow.

The sleep thing is driving me up the wall. Even before we found out I my sleep was much more broken than has ever been before. Everyone at work is commenting on how tired I look. My boss was asking if I am coming down with something and if I should go to the doctor. Lol! Felt like saying it's a sel inflicted thing but I would have had to explain that one. We are telling our family in a few weeks. I will be 8 weeks by then. I would do it earlier if we lived closer, don't want to do it over the phone. I think I will tell work soon after that as I have some things coming up that will be affected by being UTD. I can't wait to tell people   !

Hi ya,

Sadly I think we are off the list. I went for a scan today and we have a suspected molar pregnancy. Whole new journey for us form here!

All the best with your pregnancies ladies! April babies are great, I'm one!
