Hiya,
Thought I'd start this thread as I couldn't really find one for IUI.
My signature explains my emotional journey for baby No 1 who is now 16 months old (we are incredibly lucky to have her) and we have been TTC baby No 2 for 13 months now and about to do our first round of IUI tomorrow.
Had a scan today showing a 23x25 follicle, got the trigger injection and head in tomorrow morning for IUI! Fingers crossed :)
Would love to chat to other IUI buddies

AFM - IUI all done, went well so now the dreaded 2WW.

Hey did you bleed after your IUI's? I didn't No1 IUI, then did slightly No2 IUI as it took 2 ppl to get it in and then pete pushed it in to far but today I've been bleeding all day??? not huge amounts but consistent?

Ohhh i'll join!
I am about to start my first round of IUI, DH has got to do a sperm assesment for antibodies first, and then it's all go!
It will be great talking to more IUI people as i'd love to find out more and there experiences!!

I am meant to be ringing them on CD1 of my next cycle! DH is booked in for his assesment this thursday to see whats going on with him!
I am on CD19 today - so if i'm not BFP this cycle i guess it will be about thursday or friday next week when things get started! - then i guess another 14 days until ov again!
So its all going ahead and quite exciting!

I have never bled/spotted after IUI but they have never had any problem getting it in with me, if your worried give the clinic a call.
I dont have any signs of pregnancy this month and with getting the tummy bug last week Im not holiding out alot of hope for this month, but you never know so I will go and do the test tomorrow anyway. Its getting harder and harder every month. We were so lucky with DS that it happened first time, then with trying for #2 it happened 2nd time(mc) so I am expecting it to work every month and its starting to do my head in! Such a mental strain this whole ttc trip!

It is a mental strain, i am sooo positive that the IUI will work first time round, but i know i might be setting myself up for a huge fall!

I had 2 unsuccessful IUI's in '08, and am back on the IUI train this year as IVF/ICSI didn't work for us last year. Had my IUI treatment in April but BFN (I swear they triggered me too early!) and will have IUI again in 2 weeks.
My mum said to me yesterday at lunch "maybe we can celebrate your motherhood next year" and I hope so! I am feeling positive on my TTC journey at the moment, after being so down on it last year.
Let's hope May is kind to us all

Great to see an IUI thread! We did several rounds of clomid with no luck and then got a BFP from our first IUI. Wishing you all success with IUI very soon

sarahzski, excuse my ignorance but what is ivf/icsi - i have seen ppl post it, i know wat ivf is but what is the icsi? welcome back to the IUI journey!
Good to see a few of us in here, pleased i started the thread as lots of posts for ivf, clomid etc but non specific to IUI.
emmap, its good to hear that you are so positive hun.
