I'm definitely pro extended pair parental leave having said that I kept BFing for 10 months after returning to work but she had forumla during the day because I had trouble expressing
I'm glad they are doing something but I'm not sure if it will really make much of a difference to bfing rates. Its great about the extra paid leave tho.
I think extra paid leave would be a great idea. A lot of women woudl be preassured to return to work once you are no longer paid. Especially at a time when you have more expenses than before.
Ive moved to a house a three minute walk from work so I can continue to bf Isabelle ... and I agree we need a longer ppl time as Im ONLY going back to work for the money.
Mummy to Issy (3) and Elias (18 months)

When I work (just casual teacher relieving, I've only done 3 days so far!) MIL brings Coop up for a feed. It works out well as I get to have cuddles with him too!!!
I'm all for longer PPL, 14 weeks is no where near long enough.
