My thoughts are with you as well. Just the other day both hubby and I were talking about that both our fathers have passed away and will not get to see this milestone in ourlives so yeah I feel your pain on that one. Sending you happy thoughts and hugs to make this day easier for you.

On the baby shower thing. I may have one with only friends and not family at all just not sure how to pull it off without the fam finding out. Prob look at that after xmas.

It must be something in the air - I spent the entire morning in tears - out of exhaustion and then everything seems a lot worse when you're tired!
CindyP - sorry about your baby shower - that is very disappointing. I think Canuckiwi's advice is good.
Also canuckiwi - I hope you made it through the day ok. My dad has also passed away and never met any of his grandies, it's such a shame.

CindyP- i hate those days! i got terrible back pain so going to be bad night sleep for me tonight

few toilet breaks in the night other than that was a better nights sleep, im really tired today though so might have a nap soon, today ive been seeing little white spots infront of my eyes :/ not sure why and isit worth mentioning to midwife tomorrow :/

Thanks ladies - am much better, but like you guys, tired and blah. Cried while listening to the news today. Plodding my way through writing report cards, which is a bit painful. Feel like everything will be better if I paint my toenails pink... had a Kit Kat I was going to have as a treat after finishing some reports... somehow, wrapper no longer has chocolate in it and no reports are done!

Hello Ladies - It has been a while since I have been on. Extremely busy as always.
CindyP so sorry to hear about your baby shower not going ahead, I understand why you cancelled though. There were many a times when I said to my girlfriends "forget it, it's too hard, too much of a drama etc etc. Thankfully they didn't let me cancel.
You most def should have one - get your girlfriends to organise and hey if people can't make it on the date you set then tough they miss out not you! You could always catch up with them another time. One thing I did to take a bit of the pressure off me as to who was coming and who wasn’t is I had my girlfriends take the RSVP’s that way all I needed to know was the numbers to cater for.
If you are like me and feel guilty about asking others to do things for you there are lots of cafes out there that could do a little afternoon tea or something like that. Do it now before you get too much further along you will enjoy it more! I am sure your friends if given the opportunity would love to do something for you.
To those that are missing loved ones at this time my thoughts are with you.

Wow it's quiet in here. Just thought I would check in on those ladies not in our facebook group and see how everyone is going Only 5 and a bit weeks left to go for me now... Exciting times ahead.
