OMG!!!! How rude!!!!!
He's only 3 1/2 months!!! heaps of time yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and you want him where u can see him for as long as poss, Ana, you know, put him down to go to loo and he's still in same place when u get back!!

How rude is that!! Cant believe that people actually make comments like that Ana, he is so not fat. He looks like a real little cutie - love all the pics you have in your tickers

jake is one and is in the top percentile for weight, but he's not fat either....but he is hefty and solid. I prefer to think of him as healthy!!! If babies were overweight, your doctor would say something. I'm pretty sure that babies can't get overweight (don't quote me on that though).
And I think Joey is gorgeous too, and doesn't look at all fat.

Ana, Maya didn't roll over till she was 7 mths, and by that stage she was grossly underweight and was in the 3rd percentile for weight. So size has nothing to do with it. In Maya's case it was just sheer laziness

Perhaps I am a bit of a cow, but whenever people made comments about Maya's size (as a newborn I got "oh she's so big" and at 7-10 mths I got "gosh she's skinny") I bit straight back. One old bag stopped me walking along the road and asked how old she was and I said 2 weeks and she said "oh, she's very big for 2 weeks" so I replied "I know, isn't she beautiful, and I didn't even have to have stitches after the birth". She went bright red and didn't know what to say, and I was in a great mood for the rest of the day!

We didn't do coffee group, but must admit that I felt a little inferior to the other Mum's in my antenatal group as they were all married with houses and planned babies, and I was 21 and having a big surprise. So when we got together for the babies first birthday it was nice to see that Maya was the only one walking (and she was the youngest by 2 mths!)

I didn't go to antenatal classes purely for that reason. (Went to a young mother's class in Rotorua and was the oldest by far! hehehe Good old Rotorua, never feel out of place when I come back here )

Ana - Joey is gorgeous! I love him! Hannah's a rival in the chubby department anyway I always get comments about her cheeks but have learnt that most people mean it in a complimentary way. (Although your coffee group bully doesn't sound like she was being particularly nice. Evil woman. Ignore her.)
