ha ha ha Becks, i was in the first lot to get the black and white ones. lololol. didn't mind it too much at all. all my sisters got the pinapple lumps ones though.. geez, now, or, well, when my little sis was at school anyway... the girls werw allowed to wear black pants in winter! I wish we had had that option instead of freezing our butts off... even stockings didn't do much.

Our uniform wasnt too bad but I definitely remember there was an art to rolling the skirt up without it bunching up too much! And you had to remember to unroll it before you got home and Mum saw!! Yesterday I saw a girl in uniform walking to school and I thought gosh thats a very short skirt (man Im a nana now!) and when I got closer I realised it was my 14 year old sister in law!!

our summer skirt was brown and white checks. Our winter stirt was plain brown and our jearsy was brown too! Then our whole school went into mufti when i was 7th form.

LOL, I think my first high school is deinitely a contender for worst uniform - summer was a brown checked dress, and winter a 'fawn' (ie.brown!) shirt, brown and red checked skirt, brown wooly stockings (itchy!) and a brown jumper, plus a hideous red blazer.
My second school wasn't too bad, it was just a blue skirt and white shirt withblue jumper. So much better as uniforms go!

Tight skirts were the thing for the "cool" kids at our school. I can still vividly remember one girl all the boys liked being upskirted outside the tuck shop. Her skirt was so tight that she couldn't get it back down, she was left sitting on the ground with her jersey around her trying to wiggle her skirt down - so funny but I guess it served her right
