Hey Annie, yeah haven't been around in a while - busy with moving business and all. How are you? How are Charlotte & Jake?
Ro I just had a look at your new 'baby' - what a brilliant idea! Best of luck with the launch...will be keeping a close eye (not that I plan on getting up the duff anytime soon, but for future reference)
I was a size 10 prior to falling preg with lucas and D cup, then I got pretty big (for my frame) in pregnancy, put on just over 20kg all up and I couldn't personally justify the expense I'd have to go to for a maternity wardrobe so as I got bigger I started buying size 16's etc from cheaper stores and in sales (ie. warehouse, farmers) and swayed more towards tops that came in under the bust, they were comfy and accentuated my growing bump. Even 2nd time around I'd still steer clear of brands like PP Maternity and Egg, its a lot of money to spend for the short period you'd be wearing the clothes iykwim and the clothes seem to be aimed at ladies who have the 'perfect' figure pre-pregnancy and are all bump. I tried on a few pieces and looked god damn awful in them.
After I had Lucas I went up to DD cup (and sadly after breastfeeding for two years I'm now a measly C ...if im lucky ). Lost baby weight pretty quickly but even with being a shortass and smaller frame to start with the maternity wear out there just didn't do it for me. So I guess my experience *kinda* counts towards your research ...come 32 weeks I was living in my size 16 tops, my pants I was in size 14 black cotton yoga type pants (Active intent ones from the warehouse actually), you know the ones with the expandable WIDE waistbands that grow with your tummy. Totally not even meant for pregnancy but I wouldn't have been without them, you can get similar pants at places like Shanton...Glassons etc.
Ok so thats my 2cents, prob should have put it in the research thread, sorry...

no thats cool to put in here...we are so excited about it all and cannot wait for the stock to arrive full on to launch...we will probably put some on Trade me and will have the carts on the website etc...the website has been the BIGGEST mission to set up to be honest! I had to - for "research" go with mum into a couple of stores and was hard to suggest i was pregnant when I am not LOL!
we took ella to kids fair yest - what a blatant rip off...$12 to get in and then pay for everything on top....i really felt for some people who looked like they were going to struggle or have to say NO to their kids...
Annie - LOL - hi my text buddy! we need more trash tv on! LOL!

Hey gals!
Man its been ages since anyones posted in here and all of a sudden its all go again.
BS - great to see you back!
Well......Brodie is now 1 week old, Elle absolutely adores him she always wants to give him hugs and kisses. Hardest thing is trying to stop her waking him up cause she wants him to wake up all the time.
She is such a great wee girl, although in the last few weeks we have been seeing some evidence of the terrible 2's - uh oh!!!! Seems to be getting a wee bit of an attitude on her.....hmmmmm......
I am doing well - healing well after c-section - OMG how much faster is a c-section to a natural birth - I couldn't believe how fast its all over!
Will catch up later when I have a bit more time to read. But nice to see everyone back!
Hayley

Yeah that is very tall for a girl her age, Lucas was 95-96cm when i measured him a few weeks back for health insurance forms. I'm so glad he didn't get my genes when it came to height lol

Wow she is tall - but then again you aren't exactly short so it would be strange for if she was a shorty. Haven't measured Josh since he was 26 months old and then he was 95cms tall and he has grown since then. Wonder if I can get him to stay still enough to measure lol.

So how is everyone going these days???
We have good news Josh is now day toilet trained . I am so glad he is but also a bit sad having to put all my nappies away, and now working out what to do with them.
He is in size 3 and some 2 and 4 clothing, and talking so much now. Loves daycare and has 1 best friend there, works out well as I work with his dad in camp so they can see each other often.
Josh is riding his bike with training wheels on it all the time now and we are lookng forward to our trip to OZ at the end of this year to see my parents and have xmas with them.

Hey Becks!
We are all good here! Elle is Day TT as well - she pretty much did it all herself - starting just before Brodie was born and haven't had any oopsies for a few months. No 2's took a bit longer to sort but now they are sweet!! Sooo much easier!!!
She's in size 3 for most stuff too - She is pretty tall 98.5cm at 29 months (and 15.2kg), taller than most of the kids her age - makes her look older than she is!
She's pretty full on and has endless energy (*yawn*) not like her Mum ATM!! Loves her wee Brother. She's in DC 2 afternoons a week - so she can hang out with all the kids, and she loves it. Will put maybe put her in for a couple of extra afternoons when she turns 3 (with the 20hrs free DC) - we don't have a kindy out here and to take her to one would be a 40min round drive - not so keen for that, so DC will be her kindy basically!
Yay for Aussie Becks - we are heading to Chch in Nov (for the Pearl Jam concert and to see my Mum and Dad), just - like 10mins ago - scored $39 flights home for Elle, Brodie and me so we can stay up there for a week and hang out - poor Dh has to come home for work hehe!

Hi everyone, nice to see people are still around. I check in now and then but never post. Can't really be bothered.
Alyssa is TTed too she's really good also had some No.2 problems to start with but all sweet now. Shes pretty good at night as well as Mummy sometimes forgets to put on her nappy and so far so good although I'm not really keen on risking it as she seems to end up in our bed most nights (bad mummy here!!!) Miss Lys is still pretty small about 90cm and still in mostly size 2s but she's talking up a storm and is loving daycare, has a little posse she hangs with, they are really cute.
I'm being made redundant on Nov 27th so I am trying to think of something to do with the rest of my life might be fun to start again and train to do something I'm interested in as I have had the same job since school (21 years ) But for now I'm going to have a bit of a break as DH just started a new job as well so wont have any holidays for a while and someone will need to look after the kids in the school holidays so thought I'd look at doing something when the kids go back.
I'm bursting to go to OZ too. Might have to put aside a bit of my redundancy for that next year , I really want to see my big Sis as she just had number 7 in July.

Hey all we are still around ...still plodding along JUST!
Both L & I have throat infections/colds atm so we're a bit in the wars.
STILL on the hunt for a new house ...on the 6th of Dec we will have been in this place for 6 months ....and spent the last 3 months just trying to find a better one with no such luck! I'm grateful that we have a roof over our heads, but the mould is still making us very ill. I can't wait to breath properly again (riddled with asthma and respiratory problems constantly)
I have decided on the Kindy I wish to enrol L into ...providing we stick around this area, and he's slowly getting started with TT ...he's not all that interested atm, I find especially when he's sick on/off he just isn't up for it. We'll get there one day.
Other than that nothing much new on our front, most of our spare time nowadays is spent with my boyfriends family, he's a longtime close friend that I've started seeing in the last couple of months- so far so good, we couldn't be happier and he absolutely adores lucas, and vice versa) Going much better than I could have ever hoped for or expected if I'm honest. But baby steps ...I still classify myself as a solo mum, he doesn't do the hard yards ...YET! lol
Hopefully a few others venture on in and give us an update too [:))

OMG, I am so pleased that you are happy, an dhope you manage to top it off soon with a new house and better health! Ive been wondering about you and how you are gettign along with your lovely wee man.
We are fineish - will be better in a week when stepson moves out.
Kids are well, growing like mushrooms, Charlotte has finally gotten a bit taller and filled out a tiny wee bit, and although she is still only 11 kgs, she looks better covered, if you get my drift. She is now wearing (finally) size 2's! (although sz 2 pants are still a bit big for her round the waist/bum area). Her speech is AMAZING. Very clear and consice and everyone who speaks to her knows exactly what tshe is saying. She can be very "spirited" and a bit of a handfull at times, but is a delight, and very loving and cuddly. She certainly stands her ground when bigger kids might think they have an easy target, which is a good thing, lol.
She will start at the Catholic Preschool here that is run sessional like a kindy in term one next year, and she is really looking forward to it. Jake already goes there. She is doing well with swimming, and can actually "swim" quite well, so thats fun.
Tiolet training was goign wellish, but she got sick with asthma and a chest infection a week ago, so its regressed right back, she has also started reacting to grapes in a code brown way and If I think about it, I think thats when the regression started. I'm ot too worried, we will ge there.
I think thats about it from us! Any other gossip etc is peppered around the forums, lol.

Well we are still in the middle of nowhere!!!!
My job is being made permanent so I ahve to apply for it. So hoping I get it over the other person I know who has applied for it - fingers crossed.
Me and the boys are off to OZ next month for xmas - so can't wait 3 weeks 2 days of very warm weather.
Josh is doing well talking far too much. He has just moved to the other side of daycare to the young explorers so that has been a big move for him. Toileting going well for him as well. He is off to the specialist again next month for his ears and hopefully we will get his tonsillis out - that boys snores so loudly that when we are down in Palmy he can keep me awake at night!!!
Other than that not much else is a happening here.

We are moving in a week, just in time for Christmas and the New year. Hoping 2010 is a much happier and healthier one for us!

Going to Oz in 11 days and I can't wait to go.
I had an interview yesterday for my job, but I found it really hard being interviewed by people that I currently work for. So I am looking at jobs out of Waiouru, looking at Hamilton and Welly at the moment.
